Regional agricultural and forest events held in Poland

In Lower Silesia, a special event dedicated to women in agriculture, cheesemaking, and traditional food production is scheduled for October 24–25. The program includes study visits to local farms, wineries, and creameries, alongside the ‘Targ Rolniczek’ (Women Farmers' Market) in Tarnawa. This initiative aligns with the United Nations' International Year of Milpas and aims to highlight the expertise and labor of women in rural crafts. The event is being continued by Karolina Ożga at an ecological farm in Tarnawa.

In Kielce, the 12th ‘Dary Świętokrzyskich Lasów’ (Gifts of the Świętokrzyskie Forests) event took place at the Forest Stadium. The program featured forest education, mushroom foraging guided by foresters, and survival workshops. A central highlight was a traditional mushroom soup prepared by chef Mirosław Ciołak, using over 30 kilograms of mushrooms to serve approximately one thousand portions.
