Gradačac and Gornja Radgona host major regional agricultural fairs
Major agricultural and food industry exhibitions are taking place in the Balkan region. In Gradačac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 53rd International Plum Fair (Sajam šljive) is being held from August 13 to 15. The event features approximately 150 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Turkey. The fair focuses on dairy, milling, and fruit and vegetable processing, and includes the 9th International Beekeeping Fair, a gastro festival, and various scientific and professional meetings.
Simultaneously, the 64th AGRA international agricultural and food fair is scheduled in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, from August 22 to 26. This event is expected to host nearly 1,700 exhibitors from 36 countries, with Algeria serving as the partner country. The exhibition will highlight modern agricultural machinery, digitalization in forestry and farming, and sustainable development, and is expected to attract nearly 100,000 visitors.
