Regional agricultural festivals announced in Bornova and Manisa

Various regional festivals are being organized in Turkey to celebrate local agricultural production and traditional crafts.

In Bornova, the municipality is hosting a Jam Festival on September 6, 2026, at Yakaköy Village Square. The event aims to support local production and women's economic empowerment. The festival will feature jam-making competitions, workshops, concerts, and activities for children. Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that supporting women producers who preserve traditional flavors is a top priority for the municipality.

In Manisa, the Şehzadeler and Manisa Metropolitan Municipalities are collaborating to host Grape Harvest Festivals from September 5 to 8. The four-day event includes gastronomy stands, chef workshops, and exhibitions of women's handicrafts. Activities such as grape quality competitions, a leaf wrap cooking contest, and agricultural development workshops will take place across various locations, including Ulupark and the historic Kurşunlu Han.
