Regional agriculture and tourism festivals launch in Elazığ and Ortaca

The 6th Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Fair has opened in Elazığ at the Ahmet Tevfik Ozan Fair and Congress Center. Organized by Elazığ Municipality in cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, the event features over 70 companies and official institutions from provinces including Elazığ, Bingöl, Tunceli, and Şanlıurfa.

Saadettin Taşkesen, the Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, noted that Elazığ is a major production hub, contributing approximately 25-30% of Turkey's trout and salmon production. The fair showcases innovations in agricultural technology, organic products, livestock, and regional specialties such as grapes and apricots.

In Muğla, the 29th Ortaca Agriculture, Environment, and Tourism Festival has commenced with a parade in the Ortaca district. Organized by the Ortaca Municipality, the festival aims to highlight the intersection of agriculture, environmental protection, and tourism. The event includes various cultural activities and musical performances, scheduled to conclude on September 20.
