Regional artists and actresses headline cultural events in Zagreb and Sarajevo
Several prominent Croatian actresses, including Ankica Dobrić, Ana Marija Bokor Vrdoljak, and Ksenija Pajić, were seen attending the ‘Clasick Crossover Revolution’ multimedia concert at the Lisinski Concert Hall. Dobrić and Pajić, both long-time members of the Gavella Drama Theatre and stars of the series ‘Dar Mar’, shared the spotlight as cultural icons.
During the event, attention was drawn to Ankica Dobrić’s personal resilience. The actress previously shared her battle with breast cancer, noting that she underwent 16 rounds of chemotherapy. She expressed that while she initially wanted to keep her health struggles private, speaking openly helped other women facing similar challenges.
In Sarajevo, singer Josipa Lisac performed a sold-out concert at the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC). The performance featured career-defining songs such as ‘Sreća’ and ‘1000 razloga’. Beyond the music, Lisac engaged the audience with humorous anecdotes, including reflections on climate control and her discomfort with overly air-conditioned indoor spaces.
