Regional authorities approve funding for tourism and infrastructure projects

Local governments in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have secured funding for regional development and environmental projects. In Croatia, Istria County has allocated 3,000 euros to support the 15th Wild Plant Festival in the Kršan municipality. The funding aims to promote sustainable tourism, preserve traditional knowledge regarding local flora, and support local producers and gastronomy.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Una-Sana Canton government has approved 400,000 KM for 12 infrastructure and environmental projects in the Ključ municipality. These funds, derived from environmental fees, will cover various initiatives including the reconstruction of a stone bridge, improvements to public lighting, and waste management projects. Specific allocations include 125,000 KM for bridge reconstruction and significant sums for local utility companies to manage landfills and acquire machinery.
