Regional awards and community recognitions announced in Italy

Several regional awards and community recognitions are scheduled in Italy. In Mazzarrone, the XVIII Grappolo d'Oro Award will be held on September 12 at Piazza Concordia as part of the International Table Grape IGP Festival. This year's recipients include ophthalmologist Salvo Sileci, professor Alessandra Gentile, and the agricultural company Colleroni S.r.l., recognized for their contributions to professional, cultural, and entrepreneurial sectors.

In Sasso Morelli, the agri-food cooperative Clai will present the '100% Italiano' Award to the association 'Insieme a te' during the 'Settembre in Villa' event. The award recognizes the association's work with the Spiaggia dei Valori project in Punta Marina, an initiative that provides accessible beach facilities for people with disabilities. Since its inception in 2018, the project has hosted 2,300 people with medium to severe disabilities and involved 3,200 volunteers.
