Regional basketball tournaments held in Peru and San Vicente Games

Regional basketball tournaments are underway in Peru and Bonaire. In Ica, Peru, the second date of the “Fernando Calderón” championship, organized by the Liga Deportiva Distrital Mixta de Baloncesto de Ica, took place at the Modesto León Piedra Coliseum. The event featured various age categories with clubs from Ica, Pisco, and Nasca competing.

In the San Vicente Games, organizers announced that basketball will feature five categories for both men and women. Director General Carlos David de la Cruz stated that over 24 teams and 250 athletes are expected to participate. The competitions will be held at the remodeled Pedro Emilio Reyes court in the Pueblo Nuevo sector.
