Regional beauty pageants crown new winners in Colombia

Several regional beauty pageants have concluded in Colombia, crowning new representatives for upcoming national competitions.

In San Juan del Cesar, Sofía Urbina Cuello was crowned Señorita La Guajira 2026–2027. The ceremony, held at the Club San Juan, featured participation from local authorities and the Departmental Beauty Committee of La Guajira. Urbina Cuello succeeds Lilia Ballesteros Egurrola and will prepare for the National Beauty Contest in Cartagena.

In the department of Huila, Samy Quintero has been named Miss Maja Huila 2026. Following a presentation by Governor Rodrigo Villalba, Quintero will represent Huila at the Miss Maja Colombia competition, scheduled to take place in Sucre from December 17 to 20.
