Regional beauty pageants prepare for 2026 competitions

Various regional beauty pageants are preparing for their 2026 cycles. In San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina, 59 students from public and private schools will compete for the Capital title of the Fiesta Nacional de los Estudiantes (FNE) on September 13. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the FNE, and the event will feature live music from La Kostumbre. Current sovereign Victoria Zamar will step down during the ceremony.

In Quevedo, Ecuador, the city is reviving its local tradition with the Reina de Quevedo 2026 pageant. After a hiatus, 10 candidates aged 18 to 24 will participate. The official presentation of the candidates is scheduled for September 3 at the Salón Simón Bolívar, followed by the main coronation event on September 19 at the Malecón de Quevedo.
