Regional book fairs scheduled in Buenos Aires and Chascomús

Two distinct literary events are scheduled to take place in Argentina. The 5th Patagonian Book Fair will be held at the Casa del Chubut in Buenos Aires on October 22 and 23. Organized in collaboration with the Subsecretariat of Culture, the event features authors from Chubut, Neuquén, Río Negro, and Santa Cruz. Activities include book presentations, signings, and musical performances, such as an open rehearsal by singer-songwriter Gabriela Carel.

Separately, the 19th Chascomús Book Fair will run from October 23 to 25, organized by the local branch of the Argentine Society of Writers (SADECH). Hosted primarily at the Casa de Casco, the fair includes book presentations, workshops, and the Letra Lúdica International Poetry Festival (FEIPOLL), which features 30 poets from various Argentine locations and Uruguay. The program includes writing workshops, poetry readings, and an awards ceremony for poetry and micro-fiction contests.
