Regional business development initiatives launched in San Antonio and San Fernando
Regional economic development initiatives are underway in San Antonio and San Fernando. In San Antonio, FOSIS has begun distributing funds through its Semilla Program to support more than 120 entrepreneurs. The initiative aims to provide resources and tools to strengthen local businesses, with local authorities noting that over 300 entrepreneurs in the area are currently working in coordination with FOSIS. More than 90% of the participants in this program are women.
In San Fernando, a Business Round was held involving more than 250 companies to strengthen the local productive network and create new commercial links for SMEs and small producers. Organized by the San Fernando Production Secretariat in coordination with the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires, the event focused on improving sector competitiveness. Provincial officials highlighted the availability of support tools, including credit lines, training, and programs related to export and the knowledge economy.
