Regional business initiatives strengthen industry and cross-border ties in France and Germany

Regional business initiatives are strengthening economic ties and industrial innovation in the Grand Est and Upper Rhine regions.

The Euro Industries trade fair, scheduled for November 17-18 in Mulhouse, focuses on the ‘industry of the future.’ A key component of this ecosystem is the Communauté des Offreurs de Solutions (COS), an informal group of approximately 50 companies ranging from startups to international groups like EDF. These members, all certified by the Alliance Industrie du Futur, collaborate to share technical expertise and address industrial challenges.

In the Upper Rhine area, the Business Twin project is facilitating cross-border commerce between France and Germany. Led by the CCI Alsace Eurométropole and the IHK of Freiburg, the initiative pairs companies from both sides of the Rhine to help business owners build professional networks and access neighboring markets.
