Diyanet organizes regional Beautiful Adhan Recitation competitions

The Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı) has organized several regional finals for the Beautiful Adhan Recitation Competition across various provinces in Turkey as part of the Mosques and Religious Officials Week.

In the Elazığ regional final, Burhan Eser from Erzincan took first place, qualifying for the national finals. The competition included participants from nine provinces, including Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, and Malatya.

In the Van regional final, held at the Van Ulu Mosque, Cihan Emre Akbulut from Erzurum's Palandöken district secured first place. Yasin Doğru from Bitlis placed second, and Yasin Karul from Van placed third.

In the Bayburt regional final, Mustafa Tartı from Ordu's Altınordu district was named the winner. Adem Şahin from Trabzon took second place, and Taha Taşgit from Rize placed third. The competition evaluated participants on criteria such as melody, voice, phonetics, and diction.
