Regional celebrations held in Reinosa and Abra Pampa
In Reinosa, Spain, the local government has announced adaptations for the traditional Día de Campoo festivities. Due to sanitary restrictions preventing the concentration of cattle, the parade will proceed without livestock. The event will instead feature traditional carts, musicians, dancers, and participants in historical attire. A new cart exhibition contest will be organized, with up to eight entries displayed at various points throughout the city to be judged on artistic quality and ethnographic value.
In Abra Pampa, Argentina, the city celebrated its 143rd anniversary with a civic, military, and gaucho parade. During the event, Governor Carlos Sadir and Mayor Ariel Machaca oversaw the delivery of a new IVECO dump truck to the municipality to improve public services in the Puna region. The celebrations included a Tedeum service and official protocols to mark the city's strategic importance in the Jujuy province.
