Regional community festivals held in Laakirchen and Laubendorf

Various regional community events took place in late August 2026. In Laakirchen, Austria, the 8th Laakirchner Hofroas allowed visitors to explore local agriculture through six different stations. Participants traveled via foot, bicycle, tractor, or vintage buses to visit diverse operations, including organic dairy farms, vineyards, and Christmas tree plantations. During the event, the municipality received the ‘20 Jahre Bodenbündnis’ award.

In Laubendorf, Germany, the Sportfreunde Laubendorf e. V. hosted its traditional village festival. The event featured local Franconian cuisine, including sausages and regional wines, accompanied by musical performances from groups such as Urig, Fetzig, Fränkisch and Burning Stages.
