Regional community festivals held in Wadersloh and Wulfen
Regional community events are taking place in North Rhine-Westphalia, including the 2nd Erntedank-Familientag at the Mullewapp experience farm in Wadersloh. Scheduled for October 3, 2026, the event features a traditional harvest thanksgiving mass, a family program organized by KLJB Wadersloh, and food services provided by local agricultural associations and women's groups. Additionally, Mullewapp will host an open house to introduce its childcare and daycare services to prospective families.
In Wulfen, the annual Flachsmarkt was held at the Heimathaus on Rhönweg. The market featured local artisans, community groups, and regional visitors. A highlight of the event was the official presentation of the ‘Mergensche Stein’, a centuries-old boundary stone dating back to 1564. Originally used to mark borders between territories like Lembeck and Ostendorf, the stone has been repositioned at the Heimathaus to serve as a historical landmark and community focal point.
