Regional cultural and sporting events held in Portugal

In Miranda do Douro, a traditional pedestrian walk will take place on Sunday, September 6, as part of the festivities honoring Nossa Senhora do Naso. The 15-kilometer route travels through the Mirandês plateau between Miranda do Douro and the sanctuary of Naso in Póvoa. Organized by the municipality in collaboration with the Confraria de Nossa Senhora do Naso, the event offers participants views of rural landscapes and concludes with a communal lunch at the sanctuary.

In Reguengos de Monsaraz, local sports activities have commenced with the official start of the new season. Recent events included the draws for several regional football competitions, such as the Taça Dinis Vital and the Liga Elite, as well as a championship match between Grupo Desportivo de Portel and Lusitano Ginásio Clube B.
