Regional cultural and tourism projects launch in Sicily and Campania

In Sicily, the municipality of Ficarra has launched the first coordination meeting for the ‘Living Lab Cultura e Turismo’ project. This initiative aims to value the heritage and identity of the Nebrodi region through an interdisciplinary approach. Key planned activities include the creation of a Nebrodi Ecomuseum, a territorial interpretation plan, and ‘Le Strade dei Nebrodi’ to integrate historical, archaeological, and natural assets into a unified tourism system.

In the Salerno province, the Pro Loco Buccino Volcei APS has secured approximately 110,000 euros in regional funding for the ‘Antica Volcei: Il gusto della Salute’ project. The initiative seeks to link the archaeological heritage of Volcei with local gastronomic excellence to promote cultural and economic growth through tourism.
