Regional cultural anniversaries scheduled in Germany

Several cultural anniversaries are scheduled to take place in Germany in late August 2026.

The Tanzgruppe Kohlbachtal, a dance group part of the Rhönklub e. V., will celebrate its 30th anniversary in Kranlucken from August 28 to 30. The festivities include a formal event with historical reviews, a summer night ball featuring show dances, and a family afternoon with various musical and dance performances. The group, founded in 1996, has grown to include approximately 70 dancers aged 6 to 22.

In Dortmund, the comedy duo Pottrosen, consisting of Susan Kent and Franziska Mense-Moritz, will mark their 10th stage anniversary on August 30. Their performance, titled ‘10 Jahre – Best of Show’, will be part of the RuhrHOCHdeutsch-Festival in Hörde. The show features a satirical mix of songs, dances, and scenes centered on life in the Ruhr area.
