Regional cultural events held in Destrnik and Derventa

Various regional cultural events are taking place, including traditional festivities in Destrnik and a large-scale quiz competition in Derventa.

In Destrnik, the traditional ‘Kmečke igre’ (Peasant Games) brought together enthusiasts of rural customs, local cuisine, and music. The event featured competitive challenges such as nail driving, water carrying, and potato harvesting, alongside a parade showcasing historical farming equipment, traditional clothing, and old customs. The festivities also included a charitable component to support TEU.

In Derventa, the quiz spectacle ‘Novi Specijal sa Krešom’ is scheduled for August 25 at the Center for Culture garden. Hosted by quizmaster Jovica Lukić and featuring regional quizmaster Krešimir Sučević Međeral, the event aims to be a major outdoor quiz in the region. Teams will compete across 50 questions covering topics like history, science, and sports for a total prize pool of 6,000 KM.
