Regional tourism and cultural events drive economic growth in Spain and Latin America

Various regional initiatives across Latin America and Spain are focusing on cultural and economic development through tourism, literature, and specialized industry gatherings.

In Mexico, the XXXII National Congress of the Meetings Industry is being held in Querétaro, attracting over 800 professionals and expected to generate more than 40 million pesos in economic impact. The event highlights the strategic importance of the MICE sector for regional hospitality and services.

In Argentina, several provinces are hosting significant events: San Juan is implementing a tourism strategic plan for 2026-2030, including professional training and new eco-routes; Santa Fe is hosting educational project fairs; and Chaco is preparing for the Ibero-American Book Fair. Additionally, Misiones is promoting its tourism through international workshops in Uruguay.

In Spain, Castilla y León is promoting rural and nature tourism through NATURCYL 2026, while the town of Aroche is hosting the Fegar fair, focusing on livestock and equestrian traditions.
