Regional cultural festivals announce August folk music programs

Various regional cultural programs are scheduled for August, focusing on traditional and folk music. In Navarra, the KULTUR 2026 program by the Príncipe de Viana Institution will host free outdoor performances from August 14 to 16. Highlights include a concert by multi-instrumentalist Vanesa Muela in Corella on August 14, and a musical monologue by Xabier Artieda in Barbarin on August 15.

In the Terres de l’Ebre region, the 33rd edition of the Tradicionàrius festival will take place on August 21 and 22 in Roquetes. The event features traditional music from Ebre, the Balearic Islands, the Pyrenees, and Lleida. A central highlight is the presentation of the new vinyl ‘Jota x Cobla’ by Quico el Cèlio, el Noi i el Mut de Ferreries, accompanied by the Cobla Reus Jove. Other performers include the Mallorcan group Pitxorines and the folk orchestra Trama Ball.
