Regional cultural festivals celebrate agricultural and livestock traditions

Irala is preparing for the Fiesta del Agricultor, which coincides with the town's 121st anniversary. The event features a civic and agricultural parade, folkloric ballet performances, and musical acts including Clasikeros and Marcos Emanuel. The celebration will conclude with a performance by cuarteto singer Lisandro Márquez.

Tineo will host the Fiesta de la Trashumancia from September 11 to 13, highlighting livestock roots and vaquero culture. A new livestock fair at Casa’l Puertu will feature equines, caprines, and ovines, as bovine participation is restricted due to bovine nodular dermatosis. The festivities include a recreation of seasonal animal movements, a traditional mass, and various community activities.
