Regional cultural infrastructure undergoes major renovations in Czech Republic and Slovakia
Several municipalities in Central Europe are undertaking significant cultural and architectural renovations. In Uherský Brod, Czech Republic, the city has highlighted a large number of reconstructed monuments, including the transformation of the Panský dům garden into a public green space in the city center.
In Želiezovce, Slovakia, the municipal council has approved a major reconstruction of the local culture house. The project, valued at approximately 1.95 million euros, aims to modernize the building constructed in the 1950s. The renovation will focus on reducing energy consumption through roof replacement and insulation, as well as internal modernization. The project will be co-financed by a grant of 1.14 million euros from the Environmental Fund, with the remainder covered by municipal resources.
