Regional development and legal initiatives in Vietnam

In Lao Cai, the first congress of the Provincial Lawyers Association for the 2026–2031 term has concluded. During the 2025–2026 period, the association focused on organizational restructuring and legal advocacy. Key achievements included providing input on over 60 draft laws and resolutions, organizing 85 legal education conferences for over 13,000 participants, and conducting 10 mock trials. The association also expanded legal counseling and grassroots mediation services, reaching hundreds of citizens through direct and mobile communication.

In Quang Ngai, a workshop was held to address development bottlenecks in the agricultural and maritime economies. Provincial leaders and experts discussed strategic solutions to leverage the region's potential, bridging the coastal and Central Highlands areas. To drive growth, the province has issued 11 specialized resolutions, including five focused on agriculture, forestry, medicinal herbs, and the maritime economy. These initiatives aim to reorganize production, unlock resources, and ensure sustainable development alongside environmental protection.
