Regional development initiatives announced in Irpinia and Irsina

In the Irpinia region, the Province has entrusted the “Turismo delle Radici” plan to Sistema Irpinia. This initiative aims to coordinate territorial promotion by working alongside municipal administrations and local stakeholders to enhance provincial heritage. The plan is designed to operate without new financial commitments from the Province, instead relying on sponsorships and collaborations as outlined in provincial regulations.

In Irsina, institutional leaders met to discuss public housing policies and the redevelopment of residential assets. The meeting highlighted the completion of 18 new public housing units on via La Marmora, a project funded by 2.65 million euros through the PNRR. Additionally, over 200,000 euros have been allocated for structural repairs and seismic improvements to buildings on via Togliatti and via Di Vittorio, utilizing funds from the sale of public housing units.
