Regional development initiatives launched in Lubelskie and Gniezno
Various regional development and support initiatives are being launched in Poland. In the Lubelskie Voivodeship, the Fundacja Centrum Rozwiązań Biznesowych is implementing the ‘ProAktywni’ project. Co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus, the initiative aims to improve employment stability and access to high-quality jobs for 132 individuals. The program offers digital, professional, and ‘green’ transformation training, specifically targeting those on short-term or civil law contracts, as well as women returning to the workforce and persons with disabilities.
In Gniezno, the Fundacja Centrum Integracji I Rozwoju Społeczności Lokalnych Activus has signed an 800,000 PLN agreement with the City of Gniezno to support local non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The project includes a 15-month incubation program and the establishment of an NGO Center, scheduled to begin regular operations in January 2027. The initiative will provide workspace, mentoring, legal and accounting advice, and leadership training. It also includes a grant competition for 15 organizations and aims to recruit at least 20 volunteers to foster community participation.
