Regional development projects in Poland utilize EU funds
Local development initiatives in Poland are utilizing significant European and national funding to bolster regional economies and community integration. In the Dolina Karpia area, the Local Development Strategy for 2023–2027 is entering its third year of implementation with a total budget exceeding 5.82 million euros. This funding is sourced from the Common Agricultural Policy (3.36 million euros), the European Regional Development Fund (1.64 million euros), and the European Social Fund Plus (819,338 euros).
These resources are being directed toward infrastructure, tourism, and entrepreneurship, including the development of cycling and pedestrian paths. Similarly, in Prudnik, the tenth jubilee Christmas Market is being organized as a social innovation project. Funded through the Strategic Plan for the Common Agricultural Policy, the event aims to strengthen local identity and community ties by promoting local products and cultural heritage.
