Regional development projects receive funding in Gorišnica and Slatina

The municipality of Gorišnica has secured 960,000 euros in public co-financing for the ‘Zelena Gorišnica’ (Green Gorišnica) project. The funding includes 816,000 euros from the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund and 144,000 euros from the Republic of Slovenia. The project, which has a total estimated cost of over 2 million euros, aims to connect and upgrade 13 green and urban areas in the center of Gorišnica to create safer and more accessible public spaces.

In Croatia, the City of Slatina has announced a 50,000 euro public call to support local entrepreneurs and farmers. The funding covers various sectors, including tourism, IT, and machinery procurement, offering up to 5,000 euros per user for 50 percent of eligible costs. Additionally, agricultural support is available for irrigation system documentation and beekeeping development, with beekeepers eligible for up to 2,000 euros per user.
