Various regional developments are reported across Taiwan. In Yilan, two teams from Toucheng and the Bingbang Land God squad are preparing for the 2026 Hengchun Ancient City International Gu-peng Cultural Activity.

In the financial sector, Cathay Financial Holding reported that 57% of investors surveyed favor the Taiwan stock market. Cathay Cathay Fund saw its scale grow by 78% year-on-year, focusing on the AI supply chain.

In Taipei, a fire destroyed the 60-year-old Lingxiao Treasure Hall at the Zhinan Temple. Temple chairman Gao Chao-wen and Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an inspected the damage. The temple will remain open to worshippers while reconstruction plans are developed.
