Regional developments in Alto Hospicio and Camargo
In Alto Hospicio, Chile, 464 families have officially received their homes in the Brisas del Tamarugal I housing complex. Located in the Alto Molle sector, the project represents an investment of approximately 29 billion pesos and is the first of three planned developments intended to create a new residential hub with a total of 1,408 apartments.
In Camargo, Mexico, several social and infrastructure initiatives are underway. The Fundación del Empresariado Chihuahuense (FECHAC) has partnered with the San Judas Tadeo nursing home to install solar panels through a grant of 241,164 pesos. Additionally, the municipal government is allocating 48,000 pesos to the same facility to improve elderly care.
Further social developments in Camargo include the launch of a family strengthening strategy by the State DIF in coordination with UNICEF, utilizing digital tools to provide guidance to families. Meanwhile, Mayor Jorge Aldana has addressed water management, suggesting that the La Boquilla dam gates should be closed to conserve water following recent rainfall, noting that local producers must prepare for future agricultural cycles.
