Regional developments in German wine culture and gastronomy

The Weindorf festival has officially opened in Rothenburg. The event's kickoff featured Franconian Wine Queen Angelina and six wine princesses, with the inaugural tasting consisting of a Rotling from Volkach.

In Krefeld, Marc Dickmann and Paul Rohde have opened a new wine bar, Kalt-Weiss-Trocken, located on the Mies-van-der-Rohe-Campus. The establishment, which serves as a second location following their success in Duisburg, features an industrial-modern design within former industrial halls. The interior incorporates sustainable elements, such as a bar counter made from an old gymnasium floor.
