In Vibo Valentia, the organization ‘La Tazzina della Legalità’ has announced the September stage of its ‘Staffetta della Legalità’ titled ‘VIBO NON SI DIVIDE’. The initiative aims to combat the daily influence and fear instilled by the ‘ndrangheta mafia. The event seeks to move beyond symbolic solidarity by involving institutions, law enforcement, the judiciary, and civil society to provide concrete support to those who resist organized crime.

In Ventimiglia, approximately 330 market vendors are protesting the cancellation of their Friday market on September 4. The cancellation was ordered by the municipality for security reasons to facilitate the construction of a stage for the ‘Superkaraoke’ event scheduled at Belvedere Resentello. Vendors expressed significant distress over the loss of income during a difficult economic period. Roberto Benassi, president of Anva Confesercenti, criticized the lack of consultation with local business categories regarding the decision.
