Regional distillates promote traditional spirits at international trade fairs

Distilleries from Coquimbo, Chile, and Sonora, Mexico, recently participated in major industry events to promote their traditional spirits. In Brazil, Coquimbo-based companies showcased Chilean pisco at ProWine São Paulo 2026, an influential Latin American wine and spirits fair. The delegation engaged with importers, distributors, and bartenders to position pisco as a versatile, high-quality alternative to established spirits.

In Mexico, ten brands of Bacanora from Sonora participated in the second edition of Mundo Mezcal 2026 in Mexico City. Supported by the Consejo Sonorense Regulador del Bacanora, the brands utilized specialized tastings to highlight the cultural value and Denomination of Origin of the Sonoran distillate to over 10,000 attendees.
