Regional economic development and digital innovation plans launched in Aguascalientes and Valladolid

In Aguascalientes, the Investment Promotion Committee held its second regular meeting at the Secretariat of Economic Development, Science, and Technology (SEDECYT). The session focused on monitoring progress in attracting investment through collaboration between the government, private sector, and academia. The committee aims to strengthen the state’s competitive edge by fostering connections between businesses, educational institutions, and authorities.

In Valladolid, Spain, the Advisory Council of the Agency for Innovation and Economic Development presented the SmartVA! Digital Innovation Plan and the 2022 budget. The plan seeks to drive the digital economy and integrate enabling technologies across productive sectors to create a sustainable economic model. The SmartVA! strategy focuses on five pillars: smart city management, business competitiveness through digital commerce, improving digital capabilities, supporting digital entrepreneurship, and closing the digital divide.
