Regional education forums held in Curvelo and Maricá

The municipality of Curvelo is hosting the 5th Intermunicipal Education Forum on October 28. The event, themed ‘Transformation through affection,’ aims to provide continuous training and dialogue for mayors, secretaries, teachers, and school management teams from Curvelo and 20 neighboring municipalities. Renowned journalist and poet Fabrício Carpinejar is scheduled as a keynote speaker to discuss the role of emotional connection in the learning process.

In Maricá, the second day of the II Seminar honoring anthropologist and writer Darcy Ribeiro took place on October 27. The seminar, titled ‘Darcy Ribeiro, interpreter of utopias: Darcy and Education,’ gathered educators and representatives to discuss Ribeiro’s contributions to Brazilian education, culture, and social transformation. The event is part of a broader cultural program running through October 31.
