Regional educational programs engage children in Germany

Various regional summer programs in Germany provided educational experiences for children. In Piding, 16 children and six adults participated in a tour of the Molkerei Berchtesgadener Land. Led by a milk technician, the group explored different operational areas, including the milk delivery hall and the glass washing system, and participated in activities such as butter churning.

In the Dahme-Spreewald district, over 580 children from 26 daycare centers and after-school programs participated in the “Sammellust” mobile program organized by the Museumspädagogischer Dienst (Mupäd). The program taught children about museum work, including collecting, sorting, and documenting objects, as well as the importance of preservation and restoration. The initiative included visits to various facilities and public appointments at Schloss und Garten Königs Wusterhausen and Museum Schloss Lübben.
