Regional entities launch initiatives for disability inclusion

Various regional entities are implementing new agreements to promote the inclusion and rights of people with disabilities.

In Mexico, the Institute for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities of the State of Yucatán (Iipedey) and the Institute for Persons with Disabilities of Mexico City (Indiscapacidad) have signed a cooperation agreement. This partnership aims to exchange knowledge, develop accessible materials, and provide training to improve service delivery and ensure the exercise of rights in accordance with international conventions.

In Spain, ASANSULL and the Real Balompédica Linense football club have partnered to foster the inclusion of individuals with intellectual disabilities in La Línea de la Concepción. The agreement includes the creation of club-related merchandise designed and produced in ASANSULL occupational centers, which will be sold at the Second Tex store. Additionally, the collaboration will launch the ‘Voluntariado Balono’ program to encourage community participation and social integration through sports and local identity.
