Regional events and shopping scheduled across Germany for August weekend

Various regional events and shopping opportunities are scheduled across Germany for the weekend of August 15–16, 2026.

In the Nuremberg region, several flea markets are taking place. On Saturday, August 15, markets are scheduled in Neumarkt and Nuremberg, including locations at the Obi parking lot and the Meistersingerhalle. On Sunday, August 16, additional flea markets will be held in Forchheim, Feuchtwangen, and Spalt, as well as throughout the Nuremberg, Erlangen, and Ansbach areas.

In North Rhine-Westphalia, shopping opportunities are available on Sunday, August 16, particularly in the Sauerland region. Lennestadt-Altenhundem will host a three-day city festival featuring live music and open shops. Additionally, Winterberg will hold its traditional Kirmes festival from August 14 to 17, coinciding with regular Sunday shopping hours at the Einkaufswelt Winterberg.
