Regional events announced in Baradero and Aluminé

The 21st Provincial Mate Festival in Baradero, Buenos Aires, has been rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions and orange-level meteorological alerts. Originally planned for October 10–12, the event will now take place from November 7 to November 9, 2026, at the Centro Tradicionalista El Resero to ensure the safety of attendees and participants.

In Neuquén, the city of Aluminé will host the Argentine Creek Kayak Championship from October 29 to November 1. The competition is notable for requiring paddlers to navigate four rivers—Litrán, Pulmarí, Aluminé, and Mapío—within a single event. The championship is supported by the Neuquén Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Culture and involves local Mapuche communities, such as the Lof Ñorquinco, to promote regional tourism and environmental stewardship.
