Regional events in France focus on sports employment and marine law
The Métiers du Sport Tour was held at the Stade Niçois Rugby space, organized by CDOS 06 in partnership with GE Sport Région Sud. The event attracted 200 visitors, including students and professionals seeking career changes, to explore diverse roles in training, management, and audiovisual sectors. Approximately 20 organizations participated, and the event included a session for sports clubs to learn about employment support through entities like France Travail and AFDAS.
In Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, the association SOS Grand Bleu is hosting a conference titled ‘Droit de la mer et protection des cétacés’ (Law of the Sea and Cetacean Protection). Presented by Frédéric Schneider, the lecture will examine the limitations of the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea regarding marine mammals and discuss supplementary legal frameworks such as the Barcelona Convention and the BBNJ Agreement to address threats like underwater acoustic pollution.
