Regional festivals commence in Arnedo and Ansoáin

Various regional festivals are commencing in Spain. In Arnedo, the patron saint festivities in honor of San Cosme and San Damián are scheduled from September 26 to October 2, 2026. The program includes the ‘Robo de los Santos’, which is recognized as a national tourist interest event, and various musical performances featuring artists such as David Otero, Pura Verbena, and Los G Band.

In Ansoáin, residents have launched their patron saint festivities with the traditional ‘chupinazo’. This year, Aimar Marcos, a participant in the television program ‘El Conquistador del Fin del Mundo’, was selected via popular vote to perform the launch. The celebration also marked the revival of the ‘mayordomas and mayordomos’ tradition as part of the ‘Somos Ansoáin-Antsoain gara’ project.
