Regional festivals held in Igüeña and Piñor
Regional festivals are being celebrated in northern Spain. In Igüeña, the eleventh edition of the giant pumpkin fair featured record-breaking specimens, including an Asturian pumpkin weighing 375 kilograms. The event included original designs, decorated stalls, and traditional festivities such as magosto, garlic soup, and live music.
In Piñor, the ninth edition of the Festa dos Callos brought together 500 diners to consume more than 300 kilograms of tripe. The celebration included a 62-kilometer motorcycle route through the municipality involving 70 riders. Local officials noted that the event helps promote the municipality throughout Galicia.
