Regional food and nature festivals held in Silesia and Beskid Niski

Regional culinary and nature festivals are taking place in various parts of Poland. In the Silesia region, the RegioRest Festival returns to restaurants belonging to the ‘Silesian Flavors Culinary Trail’. Participating establishments, including Brovar 16 in Pszczyna, Karczma Wiejska in Jankowice, and Restauracja Zacisze in Brzeźce, are offering special three-course tasting menus for 69 PLN per person. The menus feature regional specialties such as krupniok with plum ketchup, beef cheeks with Silesian dumplings, and traditional desserts like ‘kopa śląska’.

In the Beskid Niski region, the second edition of the ‘Rydzowa Jesień’ (Saffron Milk Cap Autumn) festival will be held in Wysowa-Zdrój on September 26–27. Organized by the Uście Gorlickie Municipality and the Municipal Cultural Center, the event focuses on mushroom foraging and local traditions. The program includes mycological walks, mushroom exhibitions, workshops, and concerts. A culinary highlight features chef Maksymilian Przybylski, known as ‘Max Gotuje z Natury’, who will prepare a traditional saffron milk cap soup over an open fire.
