NSW Rugby League suspends players as Mudgee Dragons fall 38-14

The New South Wales Rugby League judiciary handed suspensions to several players after the weekend’s matches. Stanley was charged for joining a melee, while Clayton Daley received a four‑week ban (with one game suspended) and Tyson Fuller a two‑week ban (with one game suspended).

In round 14, the Mudgee Dragons suffered their first loss of the season, falling 38‑14 to the Forbes Magpies. Forbes’ hat‑trick hero Mitch Andrews highlighted the team’s strong performance. The weekend also saw the Macquarie club retire the No. 3 jersey in honour of former player Ali Rush.

The suspensions and the Dragons’ defeat come with one round left before the finals, meaning the judiciary’s decisions could influence the remaining competition.
