Regional football talents Jovan Vojnović and Lovro Banovec gain prominence

In Serbia, Jovan Vojnović, a 2007-born right-back from Čukarički, is currently on loan at Metalac to gain senior experience. Known for his physical conditioning and a top speed of 37 km/h, Vojnović is a member of Serbia's youth national teams and is under contract with Čukarički until 2029.

In Croatia, Lovro Banovec has successfully balanced a professional football career with academic pursuits. After playing in lower leagues and moving through clubs like Varaždin and Sesvete, the midfielder recently signed a two-year contract with Slaven Belupo. Banovec recently earned a Master's degree in kinesiology, having maintained his studies throughout his rise to the top flight.
