Regional football updates: Dobwalls and Buckland secure victories

South West Peninsula League Western League Premier Division English football Dobwalls Dingos Torpoint Athletic

In regional football action, Dobwalls secured their first league win of the season with a 6-2 victory over Launceston. Elian Causon scored a hat-trick, supported by goals from George Hann and Jamie Gilbert. The win follows the resignation of Launceston manager Simon Minett.

In the Western League Premier Division, Torpoint Athletic suffered a 4-1 defeat against Buckland Athletic. The match was heavily influenced by an early red card issued to Torpoint goalkeeper Ty Rowe for handling the ball outside the penalty area. Despite playing with ten men, Torpoint remained level until the second half, when Buckland scored three unanswered goals.
