Regional forums in Brazil address racial equity and workplace harassment

In Três Rios, Brazil, a regional forum was held on September 11 focused on the National Policy for Racial Equity, Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations, and Quilombola School Education. The event brought together education professionals and representatives from 20 municipalities, including Areal, São Gonçalo, and Juiz de Fora, to exchange experiences and strengthen public policies aimed at combating racism in schools and promoting diversity.

Separately, the Municipal Health Secretariat of Ilhéus scheduled the 2nd Seminar on Moral Harassment in the Workplace for September 21. The seminar aims to educate public servants on recognizing harassment, understanding their rights, and following proper reporting and investigation procedures. The program includes lectures from the Public Ministry of Labor and local legal and psychological experts to foster respectful and safe professional environments.
