Regional funding initiatives announced in Małopolska and Opole

The Małopolska Voivodeship Self-Government has allocated over 600,000 PLN to support cultural organizations in the Tarnów, Brzesko, Bochnia, and Dąbrowa districts. The funding, distributed through programs such as ‘Etno Małopolska’, aims to support choirs, brass bands, rural women's circles, and projects focused on folklore, local traditions, and regional heritage. In the Tarnów district alone, 121,000 PLN will be provided to various municipalities for activities including workshops, exhibitions, and the purchase of regional costumes and musical instruments.

In the Opole region, authorities have reported significant progress in flood recovery two years after the major disaster. Approximately 681 million PLN has been spent through the Opole Voivodeship Office to assist residents and repair infrastructure, with the total support expected to reach roughly 939 million PLN. This funding covers direct resident aid, flood prevention actions, and support for local governments. Additional investments are being managed separately by Wody Polskie and other national directorates to ensure regional preparedness for future hydrological threats.
